Job Description

The School of Business at the American University in Dubai (AUD) invites qualified applicants for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Decision Sciences to begin teaching in Fall 2026. Position Overview:
The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in Management or in Business Administration (general track) or a related field from a Western-accredited institution at the time of appointment. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate strong potential and promise of teaching effectiveness and excellence at the undergraduate and MBA levels, active scholarship, a track record of professional development, student advising abilities, and service to the department, school, and community.

Required Qualifications:

• To begin with, candidates must have a Ph.D. in Management, Business Administration (general track), or a related field from a Western-accredited institution at the time of appointment
• Furthermore, a demonstrated record of research publication and teaching excellence in the relevant field
• Additionally, proficiency in applying artificial intelligence in business practices and/or research
• Moreover, experience in consulting for business organizations and industry will be an advantage
• Furthermore, excellent English written and oral communication skills
• Additionally, ability to be an active team player and a contributor to continuous improvement in the School of Business

Key Responsibilities:

• First and foremost, deliver high-quality instruction in Decision Sciences at undergraduate and MBA levels
• Additionally, demonstrate teaching effectiveness and excellence
• Furthermore, maintain active scholarship and professional development
• Moreover, provide student advising and academic support
• In addition, contribute to service activities at the department, school, and community levels
• Furthermore, support continuous improvement initiatives within the School of Business
