The School of Business at the American University in Dubai (AUD) invites qualified applicants for the position of Assistant or Associate Professor of Finance to begin teaching in Fall 2026. Therefore, this role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to teaching, research, and academic service at a prestigious private institution in Dubai.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate should have a Ph.D. in Finance or a related field from a Western accredited institution at the time of appointment. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate strong potential and promise of teaching effectiveness and excellence at the undergraduate and MBA levels, active scholarship, a track record of professional development, student advising abilities, and service to the department, school, and community.

Required Qualifications:

• To begin with, candidates must have a Ph.D. in Finance or a related field from a Western accredited institution at the time of appointment
• Additionally, academic qualifications and/or specialization in teaching:
  • Advanced Corporate Finance
  • International Financial Management
  • Risk Management
• Furthermore, a demonstrated record of research publication and teaching excellence in the relevant field
• Moreover, excellent English written and oral communication skills
• Additionally, ability to work effectively in a team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• First and foremost, deliver high-quality instruction in Finance at undergraduate and MBA levels
• Additionally, demonstrate teaching effectiveness and excellence
• Furthermore, maintain active scholarship and professional development
• Moreover, provide student advising and academic support
• In addition, contribute to service activities at the department, school, and community levels
