Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU), the first accredited smart learning university in the region, invites applications for Non-Resident Full-Time Faculty positions in Healthcare Management at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor rank. This role offers exceptional scholars the opportunity to advance innovative online education from outside the UAE.

Position Overview:
HBMSU is seeking exceptional scholars with an established international reputation in Healthcare Management who are passionate about advancing innovative online education. Successful candidates will join the School of Health Sciences, contributing to the University’s mission of delivering learner-centric, high-quality smart education. Non-resident faculty appointments are full-time roles that allow candidates to teach, conduct research, and engage in service remotely from outside the UAE while fully participating in HBMSU’s online learning environment.

Position Highlights:

• Non-resident full-time positions (remote from outside UAE)
• Opportunity to shape the future of digital learning in healthcare management
• Fully online teaching delivery (asynchronous or synchronous)
• Virtual participation in faculty meetings, committees, and training sessions

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Content Development:

• Facilitate both undergraduate and postgraduate courses using online learning platforms and smart technologies
• Design, develop, and deliver e-content in the field of Healthcare Management
• Develop and conduct professional short courses, workshops, and interactive training programs for targeted groups and professional communities in both Arabic and English

Mentorship & Supervision:

• Supervise, advise, and mentor learners in their academic study plans
• Supervise master’s theses and capstone projects

Research & Scholarship:

• Publish research in high-quality Scopus-indexed journals
• Prepare and submit applications for research grants
• Maintain sustained scholarly and creative contributions to the discipline

Service:

• Carry out administrative responsibilities as required
• Contribute to institutional and community service

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• PhD degree in Healthcare Management or related field from a top 200 university
• Adequate teaching experience at graduate and undergraduate levels
• Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals of good international standing
• Experience in course content development for online learning
• Experience in advising and mentoring learners
• Record of supervising master’s dissertations
• Ability to develop and deliver professional short courses in Arabic and English
• Record of sound administrative experience in academics
• English language proficiency is a must
• Experience working in an online learning environment (preferred)
• International experience (preferred)
