The School of Business at the American University in Dubai (AUD) invites qualified applicants for a full-time faculty position for an Assistant Professor or Associate Professor of Economics to begin teaching in Fall 2025. This is a premier opportunity for an economics academic to join a leading university in Dubai, UAE.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will teach a broad range of undergraduate and MBA courses in Economics, maintain an active research agenda, and contribute to curriculum development. Responsibilities also include student advising and service to the school and community.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field from a Western-accredited institution.
• Ability to teach a broad range of courses in Economics, with a particular focus on Applied Microeconomics.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• A strong record of high-quality publications in peer-reviewed outlets commensurate with rank.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry experience is highly preferred.
