Job Description

The University of Kalba is seeking a Content Developer to plan, develop, and produce high-quality, engaging content (written, visual, or multimedia) that aligns with the organization’s identity, supports its communication and marketing objectives, engages internal and external audiences, and keeps pace with digital transformation trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Media, Marketing, Communications, Arabic/English Language, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in content development or a related role
  • Excellent command of both Arabic and English (writing and editing)
  • Proven ability to write professionally and creatively across formats
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, SEO practices, and content management systems (CMS)
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs, WordPress, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure

Responsibilities

Content Needs Analysis

  • Analyze target audiences, their interests, and digital behavior
  • Identify suitable content types for different platforms and goals

Content Creation & Editing

  • Produce original, high-quality content for various platforms (official website, social media, newsletters, blogs, etc.)
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
  • Adapt tone and language to suit platform and audience

Digital Content Management

  • Coordinate with design and multimedia teams to align visuals with written content
  • Upload and manage content using CMS platforms
  • Monitor and evaluate content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

  • Apply SEO strategies to increase visibility in search engines
  • Select appropriate keywords and integrate them effectively into content

Creative Development

  • Propose new content topics and campaign ideas that align with the organization’s goals and key events
  • Generate performance reports with improvement recommendations
