Job Title: Senior Lecturer of Public Health

Institution: Alfaisal University, Saudi Arabia

Requirements:

• Earned doctoral degree (PhD, or equivalent degree) from an accredited institution of higher education.
• Evidence of excellence in medical education preferred, with demonstrated teaching/facilitating experience and skill in presenting to students and colleagues.Evidence of excellence in medical education preferred, with demonstrated teaching/facilitating experience and skill in presenting to students and colleagues.
• Strong track record of academic achievements and research productivity
• Experience in teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work both independently and collaboratively within a diverse and multicultural academic community
• Solid technological skills and experience with virtual learning platforms (moodle), computer-assisted delivery of didactic and active learning content, video-conferencing and other academic computing platforms (Zoom, Microsoft suite and Teams, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with faculty, staff, and students.
• Exhibit flexibility, adaptability and be open to and embrace creative, innovative, ideas of other

Job Description – Senior Lecturer of Public Health

• Supporting the core faculty members in teaching of Master of Public Health (MPH Program including such courses as: MPH 502 Principles of Epidemiology MPH 508 Advanced Epidemiology MPH 515 Healthcare Management MPH 516 Survival Analysis MPH 601 Research/Capstone Project
• Supporting the core faculty in preparing course description, implementing various assessment methods and preparing course, specification, course reports etc as per the NCAAA norms.
• Contribute/involve in scholarly research and publication activity related to the field
• Undertaking a range of administrative tasks thru various committees, university services and social responsibilities
• Ensure that the courses are taught in accordance with the learning objectives

Job Type Full Time Faculty Member Discipline Public Health Preffered Qualification & Experience PhD in related field (Public Health) With min of 2-years experience. Qualification from the western accredited universities will be preferred
