About the Role:
The Clinical Instructor will supervise nursing students during clinical rotations, ensuring they develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for safe, competent, and compassionate nursing care across diverse healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise nursing students during clinical rotations in medical-surgical, pediatric, critical care, and community settings
  • Guide students in performing nursing procedures following evidence-based practices
  • Evaluate student clinical performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Ensure adherence to hospital policies and professional nursing standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and performance
  • Collaborate with nursing faculty and clinical site coordinators
  • Promote critical thinking and clinical judgment development
  • Model professional behavior and ethical nursing practice
  • Support curriculum development and clinical education materials
  • Teach culturally competent, patient-centered care principles

Requirements:


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from accredited university
  • Certification in Medical-Surgical, Pediatrics, or Critical Care (preferred)

Experience:

  • 1-3 years clinical experience in general nursing required
  • Experience in pediatrics, critical care, or medical-surgical nursing preferred
  • Clinical instruction or preceptorship experience highly desirable

Skills:

  • Strong clinical nursing knowledge and teaching abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
  • Leadership and organizational abilities
  • Student evaluation and assessment skills
