IT Instructor Job in Oman – Foundation Program at Dhofar University

Dhofar University invites applications for an IT Instructor job in Oman within its Centre for Preparatory Studies. This is an exceptional opportunity to join the premier university in southern Oman, located in the beautiful coastal city of Salalah. We are seeking qualified instructors and lecturers to teach information technology in our Foundation Program for the 2025-26 academic year, preparing students for success in their degree programs.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will join the IT Unit to deliver essential IT skills and knowledge to foundation students. This role is based at our internationally accredited campus, offering a stunning environment between the mountains and the Arabian Sea for a rewarding teaching career.

Requirements for Omani Candidates:

• Option 1: Full-time M.Ed. in Education Technology with GPA 3.0+, plus 2 years of post-basic teaching experience
• Option 2: Full-time MA in Computer Science/Information Systems (GPA 3.0+) and BA in same field, plus 3 years of post-basic teaching experience
• Candidates meeting qualifications without experience are eligible for Instructor position

Requirements for Non-Omani Candidates:

• Option 1: Full-time M.Ed. in Education Technology with minimum GPA 3.2
• Option 2: Full-time MA and BA in Computer Science/Information Systems (GPA 3.2+), plus 3 years of post-secondary teaching experience

All Candidates Must Have:

• Strong command of English (minimum IELTS Band 6.0 or TOEFL equivalent)
