The Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) in the UAE invites applications for a Faculty position in Medical Laboratory Science within our Health Sciences division. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, practical instruction in Medical Laboratory Science using innovative teaching methodologies tailored for second language learners.
• Develop and update course curriculum to meet international accreditation standards and industry needs.
• Mentor students during internships and clinical placements, providing ongoing support and guidance.
• Conduct applied research relevant to national healthcare priorities and innovation agendas.
• Utilize educational technology to enhance learning outcomes and student engagement.
• Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to program development, policy formation, and extracurricular activities within the college and community.
• Maintain regular office hours to advise and assist students individually.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• A Ph.D. in Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in a higher education setting.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial experience in medical laboratory science or a related healthcare field.
• Experience in curriculum development and applied research.
• Ability to teach effectively in a second-language environment.
• Dedication to student success and a passion for innovative, hands-on education.
