The Department of Management, Marketing and Public Administration in the College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in Human Resource Management (HRM) or Organizational Behavior (OB), commencing Spring 2026.

We seek an emerging scholar with a strong research profile and a dedication to teaching excellence. The successful candidate will contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate programs and play a vital role in advancing the department’s research and accreditation goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach engaging courses in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Organizational Behavior (OB) at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of curricula, ensuring alignment with international accreditation standards.
• Conduct and publish high-quality research in leading, high-ranking refereed journals in the HRM/OB discipline.
• Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, supporting their professional and personal growth.
• Supervise postgraduate student research projects and theses.
• Participate in assigned administrative duties and support the department’s initiatives.
• Build and maintain links with industry and the community to bridge academic knowledge with practical application.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• A Ph.D. in Human Resource Management (HRM) or Organizational Behavior (OB) from an internationally recognized university.
• Teaching experience in HRM/OB at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• A strong track record of research publications in refereed scholarly journals in the HRM/OB field (evaluated using ABDC and SJR rankings).
• Experience in supervising postgraduate students is highly desirable.
• A demonstrated interest in building connections with industry and the community.
