About the Role:


The School of Engineering at the American University in Dubai (AUD) seeks a qualified Assistant/Associate Professor of Computer Engineering with a specialization in Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems, or Internet of Things (IoT). This is a unique job opportunity to join an ABET-accredited program and contribute to shaping the next generation of engineers in a globally recognized university located in the heart of Dubai.job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Computer Engineering, with a focus on Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems, and IoT.
  • Establish a strong research program and pursue scholarly publications in your field of expertise.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement.
  • Advise and mentor students on academic and professional projects.
  • Participate in departmental service, university committees, and community engagement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • An undergraduate (Bachelors) degree in Computer Engineering.
  • A Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or a closely related field from a Western accredited institution.
  • A demonstrated track record in teaching and research in one or more of the following areas: Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems, Internet of Things (IoT).
  • Industrial or professional experience is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse academic team.
