About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Instruction:

• Develop, deliver, and evaluate paramedicine courses
• Create authentic learning experiences and assessments
• Utilize simulation technology and practical training methods
• Implement innovative teaching approaches and technologies
• Manage learning resources and clinical training equipment

Clinical Expertise:

• Maintain current Advanced Care Paramedic registration
• Integrate real-world clinical experience into teaching

Curriculum Development:

• Participate in program development and enhancement
• Maintain accreditation documentation and portfolios
• Contribute to instructional improvement plans

Qualifications:

Education:

• Master’s degree in Paramedicine or related health field
• Undergraduate degree/diploma in Paramedicine (if Master’s not in paramedicine)
• Current Advanced Care Paramedic registration/licensure

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years clinical experience as Advanced Care Paramedic
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience in higher education
• Proven record of applied research or scholarship

Clinical Requirements:

• Current professional registration in good standing
• Advanced Care Paramedic certification or equivalent
• Maintenance of clinical competency standards
