Job Description

The Faculty of Business Management at Emirates Aviation University (EAU) invites applications for Visiting Professor positions in Human Resource Management. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to HRM education at a leading aviation institution in the UAE.

Position Overview:
Candidates must have a terminal/doctoral degree in Human Resource Management or a closely related area, and either a strong record of research and scholarly activity or significant professional experience as a practitioner in an applied discipline. Successful candidates will be expected to teach graduate-level courses in HRM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in Human Resource Management at the graduate level
• Develop and enhance curriculum in HRM disciplines
• Supervise master-level students in research projects and theses
• Conduct research and publish findings in well-recognized journals
• Maintain research-active status in the field
• Mentor and advise students in academic and professional development
• Contribute to program development and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:

• Terminal/Doctoral degree in Human Resource Management or closely related area
• Either:
  • Strong record of research and scholarly activity, OR
  • Significant professional experience as a practitioner in an applied discipline
• Research-active in the field with publications in well-recognized journals
• Prior supervisory experience at master level
• English language proficiency (IELTS 7.5 or equivalent as evidence) – English is the language of instruction and communication

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated excellent research and teaching at graduate level
• Relevant industrial experience in HRM practice
• Track record of curriculum development in HRM
