Physical Resources Administration Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Physical Resources Administration Manager to oversee and manage the custodial and administrative operations of the University’s facilities. The role ensures a safe, clean, and conducive university environment through effective facility management, regulatory compliance, and strategic resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities – Physical Resources Administration Manager:

• Manage renovations, facility enhancements, and new construction projects.
• Oversee technology provisions and spatial allocation for academic and faculty support.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards.
• Manage maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, and campus aesthetics.
• Coordinate emergency communication systems and maintain essential infrastructure.
• Oversee contract management for facility-related services, leasing, and procurement.
• Ensure timely renewal of trade and corporate licenses and manage vehicle lease agreements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• NEBOSH certification is advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in facilities management or civil construction, preferably within higher education.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of public health, safety standards, and municipal regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Experience in contract administration, procurement, and project management.
• Ability to effectively manage stress, deadlines, and multitasking environments.
• Bilingual (English and Arabic) is preferred.
