NYU Abu Dhabi’s Division of Science invites applications for open-rank faculty positions in Psychology (Psychology Professor). The university seeks scholars specializing in Perception, Cognition, Cognitive Development, and Social Psychology to join a globally ranked institution in the UAE.

Position Overview:

The Psychology Program welcomes early-career candidates for tenure-track assistant professor positions and established scholars for associate or full professor roles. Successful candidates will join an interdisciplinary research environment with access to state-of-the-art facilities and global collaboration opportunities across NYU’s network.

Research Specializations:

• Perception, Cognition, and Cognitive Development
• Social Psychology with developmental perspectives
• Research intersecting with existing strengths in vision, memory, language, political psychology, inequality, gender, and developmental studies

Research Facilities Include:

• Imaging center with Siemens Prisma 3T MRI and MEG systems
• Behavioral testing labs with EEG, eye-tracking, VR, and physiological measures
• Child Observation Lab with advanced recording technology
• High Performance Computing facility with 6,400+ computing cores

Qualifications and Requirements:

• PhD in Psychology or related field
• Strong research potential for early-career candidates
• Demonstrated excellence in research and leadership for senior candidates
• Ability to develop independent research programs
• Commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration
