NYU Abu Dhabi’s Division of Science invites applications for a Visiting Professor position in Chemistry. This one-year appointment offers the opportunity to teach undergraduate chemistry courses while accessing state-of-the-art research facilities at a globally ranked university.

Position Overview:
The Chemistry Program seeks an accomplished scholar for a visiting faculty position beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will contribute to undergraduate education while maintaining an active research profile.

Teaching Responsibilities:

• Deliver 4 undergraduate courses annually
• Primary instruction in Inorganic Chemistry
• Chemistry elective courses based on program needs
• Core curriculum courses
• Opportunity to develop innovative courses in emerging chemistry fields

Research Support:

Qualifications and Requirements:

• PhD in Chemistry with strong inorganic chemistry background
• Outstanding academic record appropriate to career stage

• Record of impactful research (preferred)
• Ability to obtain leave of absence from home institution
