Job Description

The School of Engineering at Emirates Aviation University (EAU) invites applications for faculty positions in Materials Engineering and Engine Propulsion at the Lecturer, Assistant Professor, or Associate Professor rank. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to engineering education at a leading aviation institution in the UAE.

Position Overview:
The School of Engineering is seeking candidates with either a Ph.D. or a master’s degree from an accredited institution, along with relevant expertise, to teach undergraduate courses in Materials Engineering, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Engine Propulsion. The ideal candidates should possess a strong academic background, practical knowledge, effective communication skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate courses in Materials Engineering, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Engine Propulsion
• Develop and enhance curriculum in relevant engineering disciplines
• Prepare course materials, assessments, and learning resources
• Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development
• Supervise student projects and research initiatives
• Contribute to program development and continuous improvement
• Engage in research activities appropriate to rank and experience

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or master’s degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or closely related field from an accredited institution
• Relevant expertise in Materials Engineering, Thermodynamics, Heat Transfer, and Engine Propulsion
• Strong academic background and practical knowledge
• Effective communication skills
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students
• Demonstrated teaching experience (preferred)
