Ahlia University in Bahrain invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Cybersecurity. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to cybersecurity education and research at a dynamic university in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will join a growing academic program dedicated to preparing students for careers in cybersecurity and related fields. The role involves teaching excellence, research productivity, and active engagement in academic service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Cybersecurity
• Develop and update curriculum aligned with program learning outcomes and industry needs
• Conduct research and publish in peer-reviewed journals
• Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development
• Supervise student research projects and theses
• Contribute to program development and quality assurance initiatives
• Participate in departmental and university service activities
• Engage with industry partners and professional communities

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Cybersecurity or closely related field from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness at the university level
• Strong research record with publications in peer-reviewed outlets
• Commitment to student mentorship and academic advising
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry experience in cybersecurity or related fields
• Professional certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH)
• Experience with curriculum development and program accreditation
• Familiarity with the higher education landscape in Bahrain or the Gulf region
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Arabic) is an advantage
