Qatar University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor position in Electronics, Embedded Systems and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) within the Department of Electrical Engineering. Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Electronics (analog/digital), Embedded Systems & Microcontrollers, Digital Signal Processing (DSP), and additional EE core/elective courses based on expertise
• Supervise labs, senior design projects, and graduate theses
• Develop and maintain an active research agenda with scholarly publications
• Seek external research funding individually or collaboratively
• Contribute to curriculum development and program accreditation activities
• Provide service to the department, college, and university

Required Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from a university recognized and accredited by Qatar University
• Demonstrated expertise in Electronics and Embedded Systems
• Track record of scholarly activities
• Proven expertise in designing electronic systems and developing architecture for embedded systems
• Willingness to teach analog and digital electronics
• Excellence in research and teaching is essential
• Master and PhD degrees must be from full-time study programs
• Cumulative GPA of no less than 3.5 out of 4.0 or equivalent in the degree program
• English proficiency required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ABET accreditation requirements
• Knowledge of innovative curriculum development and implementation
