Job Description

The School of Arts and Sciences at the American University in Dubai (AUD) invites applications for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Biology, with teaching expected to begin in Fall 2026.

This is a faculty position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

About the Position

AUD is seeking a Biology faculty member who can contribute to high-quality undergraduate teaching, scholarly research, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary academic initiatives.

The School is particularly interested in candidates able to teach Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, although applicants with expertise in related biological sciences are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Teaching and Academic Responsibilities

The successful candidate will also be expected to:

• Teach undergraduate Biology courses.
• Contribute to courses in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology where appropriate.
