About the Role

Gulf University’s College of Communication & Media Technologies is seeking an Assistant Professor in Digital Marketing / Branding. This role involves teaching across the marketing and branding specialization, engaging in research, and contributing to curriculum and quality enhancement within the college.

Qualifications Required

  • Ph.D. degree in Marketing/Branding
  • Membership of a professional body (DMI) is desirable
  • A TOT (Training of Trainers) Professional certificate from Adobe is desirable

Experience Required

  • Minimum of three years’ experience teaching different courses in Marketing or Branding, including related specialization courses
  • Minimum of two years of relevant industrial experience in the field of specialization
  • Experience developing course specifications in line with the National Qualification Framework and international accreditation standards
  • Experience utilizing software relevant to the media specialization

Key Skills

  • Ability to create and maintain effective working relationships with staff
  • Ability to develop teaching curriculum and manage quality enhancement in higher education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Solid research experience in the field of specialization
  • Ability to teach in both Arabic and English

Roles and Responsibilities

As Assistant Professor in Digital Marketing/Branding, the successful candidate will:

  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver classes across different levels within the program’s specialization domains
  • Committee Contribution: Participate in college- and university-level committees supporting the program’s mission
  • Research Engagement: Engage in research and scholarly activities related to the specialization field
  • Community Engagement: Contribute to community engagement activities organized by the college and university
