Job Description

Abu Dhabi University invites applications for an Assistant Professor in PR and Advertising to join the faculty. This full-time position involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in public relations, advertising strategies, brand communication, and digital media campaigns.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will lead research and scholarly or creative industry-related outputs in their specialized area to enhance ADU’s profile and contribute to knowledge development within the local and international community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in PR, advertising strategies, brand communication, and digital media campaigns
  • Ensure appropriate academic support and high-performance levels
  • Lead research and scholarly outputs in specialized area
  • Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement
  • Use diverse pedagogical methods and instructional strategies
  • Support students’ holistic development and achievement of learning outcomes
  • Contribute to student assessment and academic advising
  • Supervise applied projects
  • Collaborate with industry partners to strengthen student employability
  • Ensure program relevance and alignment with industry needs
