The Faculty of Mathematics and Data Science at Emirates Aviation University (EAU) invites applications from outstanding candidates for faculty positions in Applied Mathematics at all academic ranks (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). This role offers an opportunity to contribute to mathematics education and research at a leading aviation institution in the UAE.

Position Overview:
The School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computing seeks exceptional candidates with demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching. Successful candidates will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate education while maintaining active research programs leading to peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate courses in Applied Mathematics and related areas
• Supervise PhD candidates at the postgraduate level
• Establish and maintain active research programs
• Publish research findings in high-impact professional journals
• Provide service to the school, university, and the profession
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
• Mentor and advise students in their academic and research development
• Engage in scholarly activities and academic collaborations

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or closely related area from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching
• Strong research potential demonstrated by relevant publications in high-impact journals
• Teaching experience in applied mathematics or related areas
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain research programs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education from and/or previous service in distinguished institutions of higher education
• Experience supervising PhD candidates
• Track record of research publications in high-impact journals
• Commitment to academic service and collaboration
