The Department of Software Engineering at Emirates Aviation University (EAU) invites applications for Assistant or Associate Professor positions in Artificial Intelligence. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to AI education and research at a leading aviation institution in the UAE.

Position Overview:
The department is seeking top candidates in all areas of AI who have an ambition to advance the field. The successful candidate will carry out and supervise scientific work, deliver and promote education in the field, follow scientific developments, and participate in societal interaction and international cooperation. The professor will provide teaching in the degree programme of Software Engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out and supervise scientific research in Artificial Intelligence
• Deliver high-quality education in the degree programme of Software Engineering
• Promote education and curriculum development in AI
• Follow scientific developments and maintain an active research agenda
• Participate in societal interaction and knowledge exchange
• Engage in international cooperation and academic collaborations
• Mentor and advise students in research and academic development
• Contribute to departmental and university service activities

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or closely related field from an accredited institution
• Strong research record appropriate to rank (Assistant or Associate Professor)
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level
• Ambition and vision to advance the field of Artificial Intelligence
• Expertise in one or more areas of AI as listed
• Ability to supervise scientific work and research students
• Commitment to academic excellence and innovation
