Emirates Aviation University (EAU) invites applications for highly motivated full-time and permanent faculty positions in Aerospace Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering. Specializations in Flight Dynamics and Control, Propulsion, or Structural and Material Engineering are particularly sought. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to aerospace engineering education at a leading institution in the UAE.

Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated faculty members who demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research and a dedication to contributing to the academic community at EAU. The successful candidate will join a dynamic engineering faculty preparing students for careers in the aerospace and aviation industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality instruction in Aerospace Engineering with specialization in one or more of the following areas:
  • Flight Dynamics and Control
  • Propulsion Systems
  • Structural and Material Engineering
• Develop and enhance curriculum in aerospace engineering disciplines
• Conduct research and publish in reputable academic journals
• Mentor and advise students in their academic and professional development
• Supervise student projects, theses, and research initiatives
• Contribute to program development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in departmental and university service activities
• Engage with the aerospace industry and professional engineering communities

Required Qualifications:

• Fluent proficiency in written and spoken English
• Verifiable PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering or closely related field from a reputable university (Master’s degrees considered for exceptional candidates)
• Specialization in Flight Dynamics and Control, Propulsion, or Structural and Material Engineering
• Demonstrated track record in teaching and research (3-5 years)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to meet the employment visa requirements of the UAE

Preferred Qualifications:

• Industry experience in aerospace or aviation sectors
• Professional engineering certifications
• Research publications in peer-reviewed journals
• Experience with aerospace systems and technologies
• Track record of securing research funding
