Ajman University is seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Nurse to join our dynamic clinical team. This vital role supports our dental clinics by ensuring the highest standards of patient care, student assistance, and clinical operations.

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated healthcare professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for supporting dental education and patient services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments to maintain strict hygiene standards.
• Assist dental students during patient treatments and clinical procedures.
• Support patient preparation and provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures.
• Evaluate student performance and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Demonstrate minor oral surgery procedures, such as impacted tooth extraction.
• Maintain infection control measures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist in dental check-ups, consultations, and patient care activities.
• Support dental technicians in laboratory tasks and clinical research projects.
• Invigilate during mid-term and final examinations.
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a dental nursing or clinical support role.
• Valid MOH (Ministry of Health) License is mandatory.
• Knowledge of dental supplies, equipment sterilization, and infection control protocols.
• Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and clinical guidelines.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

• This role involves moderate physical activity and exposure to clinical environments, including handling dental instruments and working with blood-borne pathogens. Safety precautions are strictly followed.
