The Department of Management, Marketing and Public Administration in the College of Business Administration at the University of Sharjah invites applications for a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor in Marketing, with a specialization in Digital Marketing, commencing Spring 2026.

We seek an accomplished academic with a strong research profile and a passion for teaching excellence. The ideal candidate will be prepared to contribute significantly to our undergraduate and postgraduate programs and play a key role in maintaining our high academic and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in Marketing and Digital Marketing courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Contribute actively to the design, development, and enhancement of curricula, ensuring alignment with international accreditation standards.
  • Conduct and publish high-impact research in leading, Q1-ranked refereed journals in the Marketing discipline.
  • Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students, fostering their professional and personal development.
  • Supervise student research projects and theses, ensuring academic rigor and quality.
  • Support junior faculty members and participate in assigned administrative duties to support the department and college.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • A Ph.D. in Marketing or Digital Marketing from an internationally recognized university.
  • A Master’s degree in Marketing or Digital Marketing from a reputable institution.
  • A demonstrated expertise in teaching a range of marketing courses, including Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and Strategic Marketing.
  • A proven record of excellence in teaching, supported by outstanding course evaluations.
  • A strong research profile with publications in leading Q1 refereed journals (evaluated via ABDC and SJR rankings).
  • A minimum Scopus H-index of 8 for Assistant Professor and 15 for Associate Professor.
  • Experience in supervising postgraduate students is highly desirable.
  • A strong commitment to bridging academia with industry through impactful collaborations; industrial experience is preferred.
