Job Description

A Research Associate position is available in the department of mechanical engineering under Prof. Abdel-Hamid Mourad focusing on the development of self-cleaning solar panels based on superhydrophobic polymeric coatings. Metal-Organic frameworks (MOF’s) will be utilized for this work. Candidate must have obtained an MSc degree in renewable energy, material science, or related fields. Experience in fabrications and characterization of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOF) is a plus. The appointment is initially for 1 year starting from January 2021 and can be extended. Minimum Qualification

M. Sc in degree in renewable energy, material science or related fields

Preferred Qualification

Ph.D. degree in renewable energy, material science, or related fields. Publications related to material synthesis & coatings.

Expected Skills

Knowledge and work experience related to fabrications and characterization of Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOF).

Salary Range

5000-6000 AED
