Duties & Responsibilities | ||
1. Teach UG courses independently 2. Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials and practical classes 3. Assess student assignments and grade student performance 4. Organize, conduct and supervise internship and field studies 5. Serve on departmental or faculty committees dealing withgeneraldepartmental and administrative concerns as needed | ||
Qualifications | ||
Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field is necessary. Evidence of ability in teaching example able to use a range of delivery techniques to engage the interest and enthusiasm of students and inspire them to learn. Evidence of research productivity in the area of specialization Ability to initiate development in the curriculum and to take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of teaching programs, developing the curriculum and appropriate assessment techniques. Understanding of equal opportunity issues as they may influence areas of teaching. Evidence of engagement in continuous professional development. Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate well to colleagues and different kinds of students. Ability to perform to required deadlines and to initiate, plan, organize and deliver programs of work. | ||
