About the Role

The American University of Kuwait is seeking an Assistant Professor in Information Systems, rank Assistant Professor or higher. Only applicants with a Ph.D. in Information Systems will be considered for this position, and applications from recent graduates in the IS field are strongly encouraged. The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate courses, with a commitment to enhancing undergraduate research opportunities for students being desirable. Faculty duties include teaching, research, student advising, and service to the College and University. Please note that the Information Systems program taught at AUK is CIS (Computer Information Systems), not MIS (Management Information Systems).

Education

• Ph.D. in Information Systems only

Experience

• Knowledge of ABET program accreditation, curriculum development, and assessment is highly desirable
