The American University of the Middle East (AUM), ranked #1 University in Kuwait by QS and THE World University Rankings 2026, invites applications for full-time faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Mathematics within the College of Business Administration. Positions are available starting Fall Semester 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Curriculum Development:

• Prepare and deliver Mathematics courses using engaging, innovative, immersive, and discipline-relevant pedagogical approaches
• Demonstrate commitment, sincerity, integrity, equity, and respect for cultural dimensions while delivering course material
• Prepare course materials, design and review curriculum, and contribute to program development
• Assess student learning outcomes
• Mentor student projects, events, and academic fair projects

Research & Scholarship:

• Maintain a consistent track record of intellectual output
• Publish in high-impact, good quality, Scopus-indexed journals
• Demonstrate promising potential for further research

Academic Service:

• Participate in departmental activities including representation on academic and support committees
• Serve on task forces, working groups, and student support committees
• Remain current with the field of specialization through faculty development programs and activities
• Reflect the highest standards of ethics and collegiality in all interactions, teaching, and publications

Student Support:

• Utilize office hours as per regulations to support student advancement and development
• Meet necessary deadlines for grades submission

Required Qualifications:

• PhD Degree from an accredited institution in Mathematics or a related field
• Relevant teaching experience in the relevant discipline in a reputed institution
• Consistent track record of intellectual output demonstrated by publications in high-impact, Scopus-indexed journals
• Active engagement in curriculum design, program development, and community engagement
