About Candidate

With an interdisciplinary background progressing from Environmental Art Design (interior design, landscape, and architectural spatial design), to a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, and now a Ph.D. in Urban Design in the Department of Architecture at the University of Malaya, I bring cross-scale spatial design expertise spanning interiors, landscapes, and urban environments. I have published five peer-reviewed articles in SCI/SSCI/Scopus-indexed journals, reflecting my research strength in the built environment field. My research focuses on urban heritage landscapes, GIS-based spatial analysis, and machine-learning models for predicting visitor behavior, ecological sensitivity, and supporting data-informed urban design. I employ digital technologies, spatial analytics, and research-informed methodologies in teaching and design practice. I am expected to complete my Ph.D. in May 2026.
