I have extensive experience working in the Gulf region, including my tenure in Ar’ar, Saudi Arabia. This has given me valuable insights into the challenges professionals may face while working in the UAE. With over 14 years of experience, including 7+ years in academia, I am well-equipped to contribute effectively to this role. Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering Department, City Campus, LLU. I have instructed courses in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Technology Department. Worked as Lecturer / Technical Trainer at Saudi Mining Polytechnic under two different employers. o Saudi Mining Polytechnic under Ma’aden, KSA employee: April 2015 to July 2016 o Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA: April 2014 to March 2015 Project preview: The Saudi Mining Polytechnic has signed an operating agreement with the Missouri University of Science and Technology. Missouri S&T is the international partner of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and the Ma'aden Company of Saudi Arabia to train and educate personnel for Ma’aden (The mining industry of KSA). Key Responsibilities: I taught the following subjects at Saudi Mining Polytechnic, Ar’ar. • To Teach 3 main job streams to trainees: Surface, Underground & Operators • Training the Operators of Ma’aden Wa’ad Al-Shamal Phosphate Company (MWSPC) • Provide technical assistance to the Program Director. Collecting data, and compiling reports. • In addition, besides teaching coursework, I helped develop coursework and exam conductance. • Learnt and trained Ma’aden trainees at SMP for simulators (Immersive Technology)
Junior Engineer / Geotechnical Engineer Worked on different Projects: o Syedwala Bridge construction over River Ravi, Pakistan o Head Baloki Canal project, Punjab, Pakistan o Greenline: BRTS (Bus Rapid Transit System), Lahore Project, (JV between SKB and AL-Barak, Turkey) Here, I have been indulged in the following activities: • Responsible for Testing Material, especially soil and concrete testing. • Supervised construction activities: drilling, friction pilling, and retaining walls. • Prepared Construction reports for consultants and clients and maintained records for billing purposes. • Interacted with the Consultant to resolve various construction technical issues and work progress.
