Dear Team,
I am Dr. Sonal Devesh, an Associate Professor with more than two and a half decades of experience in teaching,
research, and academic publication. I hold a PhD from a globally ranked public university in Malaysia. My
specialization included Mathematics, Statistics, Research Methodology, and Biostatistics, employing advanced
analytical tools such as SPSS, STATA, ASDM, and R. My academic contributions extend across postgraduate
and undergraduate programs in business, medicine, and nursing.
At present, I serve at Christ University, Bangalore, where I teach courses in Mathematics, Business Analytics,
Statistics, Research Methods, and SPSS. In addition to classroom teaching, I facilitate research training programs
that foster analytical thinking and methodological rigor. Previously, I have held academic and research roles with
institutions affiliated with the University of Strathclyde, UK, and the University of Bedfordshire, UK, and have
taught biostatistics and research methods at medical and pharmacy colleges associated with West Virginia
University, USA.
My scholarly engagement includes serving as an external verifier. I hold 3 patented research projects, and have
authored over 50 publications in reputable journals, such as Taylor & Francis, Wiley, Sage, and Springer, many
indexed in ABDC and Scopus. My research has more than 700 citations on Google Scholar. I have received 3
global recognitions for research excellence from the Engineered Science Society (USA), the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of India, and the Indian Pride Award 2025. My doctoral dissertation is archived in the PROQUEST
database.
Moving forward, my objective is to advance research in emerging disciplines, secure competitive research grants,
and contribute to curriculum innovation, pedagogy, assessment, and quality assurance. I am especially eager to
continue teaching, mentoring research scholars, and conducting faculty development programs that reinforce a
university-wide culture of research excellence.

Associate Professor and PhD Coordinator.
