Teaching (Acting Lecturer, 2010–2014) Teaching across two departments: Department of Environmental Sciences, Faculty of Science (2010–2013) Department of Renewable Natural Resources & Environment, Faculty of Agriculture (2013–2014) My teaching covered courses in Natural Resources Management, Environmental Governance, Sustainable Development, and Public Policy, alongside practical/laboratory instruction in Soil Science, Plant Biodiversity, Microbiology, Wood Science, and Environmental Economics. You also contributed to departmental academic administration, student advising, and quality assurance processes. WFP – Area Manager, MENA Region (2021–2025) Management & Coordination: Led area-level operations across a multi-country MENA portfolio, managing cross-functional and multinational teams while coordinating with government entities, embassies, NGOs, and private-sector partners. Supply Chain: Oversaw resource management and field operations, ensuring the delivery pipeline for food and cash-based assistance functioned across complex operating environments (this is consistent with your WFP training in Resource Management & Field Operations Management). Community Engagement: Facilitated stakeholder engagement at field and area level, connecting programme delivery with community needs and local partners. Food Security: Managed multi-sector programmes tied to food assistance and food security outcomes as part of WFP's core mandate. HNO/HRP Process: Contributed to inputs feeding into the Humanitarian Needs Overview and Humanitarian Response Plan cycles as part of area-level reporting and coordination with the broader humanitarian architecture. FAO – Livelihoods and Resilience Officer (2019–2021) Early Warning Systems: Designed and helped establish agricultural early warning systems to protect farmers against climate-related hazards — this is my standout, most differentiated achievement and should lead when EWS or disaster preparedness is the focus. Food Security & Livelihoods: Worked on resilience-building programming tied to agricultural livelihoods and food security in vulnerable communities.
