About Candidate

Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar is a Professor of Integrative Plant Biology with over two decades of experience in higher education, research, academic leadership and institutional development. His multidisciplinary research spans plant biotechnology, plant developmental biology, plant–microbe interactions, phytoremediation, stress biology, medicinal plants, lignocellulosic biomass and bioenergy. His academic portfolio integrates research, doctoral mentoring, funded programme leadership, international engagement, academic curricula development and institutional research administration. He has held senior leadership positions including Dean–Research & Development, Dean-Faculty, Director of AARUSH, Associate Dean–R&D and Head of Life Sciences.
