About Candidate

I am a passionate public health professional, researcher, and lecturer with a strong background in epidemiology and health statistics. My work is driven by a deep commitment to improving healthcare access, education, and outcomes, particularly among vulnerable and underserved populations.

I bring over 13 years of academic teaching experience, including 10 years as a lecturer in public health in Sudan and 3 years in Hungary. Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of subjects, including epidemiology, biostatistics, health communication, learning methodology, primary health care, fundamentals of public health, and health education and health promotion, contributing to the development of competent and skilled healthcare professionals.

Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Health Sciences at the University of Pécs, Hungary, and I am in the final stage of my doctoral journey, expecting to obtain my PhD within the next four months. My research focuses on cancer literacy, health inequalities, and barriers to healthcare access among individuals with intellectual disabilities.

In parallel with my academic work, I maintain an active research portfolio with numerous publications in high-quality international journals, including top-tier (Q1 and D1) indexed journals. My research interests include public health, health sciences research, cancer research, disability studies, epidemiology, and the health of disadvantaged and neglected populations.

I have lectured at the University of Pécs (Hungary) and the University of El Imam El Mahdi (Sudan), and I currently serve as a Research Fellow at Jamhuriya University of Science and Technology in Somalia. I have also actively participated as a speaker in several international conferences across Hungary, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Spain, France, Austria, and Kenya, contributing to academic exchange and the dissemination of research findings.

I am highly skilled in data analysis and interpretation, with strong expertise in statistical software, including SPSS and R. I routinely apply advanced quantitative methods to generate meaningful, policy-relevant insights.

At this stage of my career, I am actively seeking opportunities as a lecturer, researcher, research fellow, postdoctoral researcher, or university staff member, as well as public health specialist roles. I am particularly interested in positions related to public health, health sciences research, cancer research, disability research, epidemiology, and the health of disadvantaged and underserved populations.
