As an Associate Professor at Tabuk University, I was responsible for teaching Biology courses and mentoring students across various academic levels. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I served as an academic advisor, providing guidance and supervision to students throughout their studies. I actively engaged in research within the field of animal sciences, with a particular focus on reducing the use of antibiotics and exploring organic alternatives. I successfully secured research funding from the European Union’s Scientific Research and Technological Development Program (SRTD) and the Deanship of Scientific Research at Tabuk University. During my tenure, I also assumed several administrative roles, contributing to institutional development and strategic planning. These roles included: • General Supervisor of the Quality, Planning, and Development Unit • General Supervisor of the Affiliation Exams • General Supervisor of the ELearning and Distance Education Unit • General Supervisor of the Academic Advising and Alumni Affairs Unit • Chairman of the Scientific Research and Scientific Activities Committee Additionally, I was an active member of various technical and administrative committees within the Biology Department, further supporting academic initiatives and institutional objectives.
As an Assistant Professor at Jerash University, I was responsible forteaching animal sciences courses and overseeing graduate examinations across various academic levels. In addition to my instructional duties, I served as an academic advisor, providing guidance and supervision to students in their final stages of study. My research in animal sciences focused on advancing scientific inquiry and practical applications in the field. I successfully secured research funding from multiple esteemed organization, including the European Union, the Scientific Research Support Fund (Jordan), the Islamic Development Bank (Saudi Arabia), the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), and the CIM Returning Expert Program Award (The Centre for International Migration and Development, Germany). Furthermore, I established a specialized Ethology laboratory, recognized as the first technical facility of its kind in Jordan, contributing to advancements in behavioral studies and animal welfare research.
I was responsible for reviewing research proposals submitted for financial support across government sectors, public and private universities in Jordan, with a focus on the agricultural and medical fields. My role encompassed evaluating and analyzing research projects, assessing their feasibility, and making funding recommendations based on project merit and achievement criteria. Additionally, I monitored the implementation of approved research projects, prepared budgetary assessments, and conducted periodic reviews. Key responsibilities included: • Evaluation of research projects in the agricultural sector, veterinary medicine, and medical sciences. • Assessment of research proposals and budgetary requirements submitted by researchers. • Financial allocation and funding decisions, presenting research projects to the Scientific and Administrative Committee. • Monitoring project timelines, ensuring adherence to established schedules. • Tracking project progress, including annual reports and final evaluations. • Engagement with stakeholders, facilitating discussions on work plans and departmental research strategies. •Formulation of research policies, defining priorities and thematic areas foreach funding cycle
