I am interested in a faculty position in Law. While most positions require a PhD, I am confident in my extensive experience, making me a strong candidate for this role. I hold an LL.M. (with a focus on commercial and business law) from the United Kingdom, which by AACSB standard 3 is considered a terminal degree in business for faculty members teaching law, ethics or sustainability. All of which I did in fact teach and consistently received excellent evaluations from my students. As a lawyer, I have found much joy in teaching and academia; my aim is to promote critical thinking and creativity in problem solving among students. This, combined with my industry informed perspective in academia, enables me to make a positive and meaningful contribution. I am particularly passionate about translating complex legal concepts to their direct application in a professional setting. This is crucial at a Law School as most decision makers or leaders are business graduates, and not lawyers. Thus, understanding real-world impact of such advice, crisis management and practical analysis are central to such education. From subjects ranging from the ESG, agency law, contractual obligations, force majeure, dispute resolution, labor laws, company formation and more. I often draw on familiar examples have actually worked on, bridging the gap between theory and practice. During my time teaching, I immersed myself into the academic environment, I was proactive in various events and committees. I contributed to the intellectual as well as professional development of students, whilst also collaborating with colleagues to advance the university’s objectives and vision.
