Job Description

Modern College of Business and Science (MCBS) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pearson Edexcel International A Level Mathematics Teacher to support a new two-year Mathematics pathway in Bousher, Muscat, Oman.

The pathway is designed for students entering after Grade 10 and will enable them to study Mathematics over two academic years, with the aim of completing one full Pearson Edexcel International A Level in Mathematics by the end of Grade 12.

The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, relevant A-Level teaching experience, and the ability to prepare students effectively for externally assessed examinations.

A Level Mathematics Teacher Oman – Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering the Pearson Edexcel International A Level Mathematics curriculum across the two-year programme.

The role includes:

• Mathematics teaching.

Pearson Edexcel International A Level Mathematics

The teacher will deliver Mathematics according to:

Teaching Responsibilities

Required Academic Qualification

Required Teaching Qualification

• An equivalent recognised teaching qualification acceptable for teaching approval in Oman.

Required Teaching Experience

Candidates should have:

• Experience teaching students aged 16–18.
• Experience delivering Pearson Edexcel or Cambridge International Mathematics.
• Previous AS-Level, A-Level, or International A-Level Mathematics teaching experience in a recognised school.

Curriculum and Examination Knowledge
