Zafer Yazıcı is a Professor (Full) of Virology at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Ondokuz Mayıs University. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of virology. His current research focuses on the pathogenesis, diagnosis, identification, and isolation of viruses,antiviral drug and strategies with particular emphasis on vector-borne viruses and respiratory viruses affecting humans and animals.
