Physics Professor UAE – Position Overview

The Department of Physics invites applications from candidates with strong research potential across physics and related disciplines.

About the Department of Physics

The Department of Physics at AUS offers:

  • Bachelor of Science in Physics.
  • Minor in Applied Physics.

In addition, the Department provides service and general-education physics courses to students across science, engineering, and non-science disciplines.

At graduate level, Physics faculty contribute to the interdisciplinary PhD in Materials Science and Engineering, which AUS offers in collaboration with the College of Engineering and the College of Architecture, Art and Design.

The Department currently includes 14 full-time faculty members conducting original research across a broad range of physics disciplines.
