Research-active Civil and Structural Engineering academic with 13+ years of international higher-education experience across Oman and India, combining teaching, funded research, academic leadership, accreditation and curriculum development. Research focuses on sustainable and low-carbon cementitious materials, geopolymer and alkali-activated systems, recycled aggregate concrete, durability and service-life performance, self-healing materials, pervious concrete, and AI/ML-assisted materials engineering. Experienced in delivering structural design, concrete technology, construction materials, structural mechanics, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering and hydraulics, with a strong record in OBE, student research supervision and industry-engaged education.

• Deliver 15+ undergraduate modules including Structural Design (RCC & Steel), Concrete Technology, Construction Materials, Structural Mechanics, Geotechnical Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Hydraulics. • Supervise capstone projects, final-year dissertations and undergraduate research, with several student projects developed into publications and conference outputs. • Conduct and lead funded research on sustainable construction materials, AI-enabled concrete modelling and infrastructure applications. • Lead OBE implementation through CLO–PLO mapping, assessment design, moderation, course portfolios and continuous quality improvement. • Contribute to OAAAQA and JBM accreditation preparation, programme review and curriculum development. • Integrate flipped, HyFlex, project-based and experiential learning with industry case studies, guest lectures and site visits. • Serve in academic and professional service roles, including ICE Oman Student Chapter activities and conference leadership.
Led departmental academic planning, faculty supervision, research initiatives, NAAC accreditation activity and curriculum modernisation.
