About the Role

The College of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the American University of Kuwait is seeking an Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering. The successful candidate will teach a range of undergraduate courses, with a commitment to enhancing undergraduate research opportunities for students being desirable. Faculty duties include teaching, research, student advising, and service to the College and University.

Qualifications

Education

• A Ph.D. in Computer Engineering or a closely related field is required, specifically in one or more of the following areas: Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Embedded Systems & Hardware Design, and Cybersecurity. Industrial experience is a plus.

Experience

• Knowledge of ABET program accreditation, curriculum development, and assessment is highly desirable
