Abudjana H. E. Babiker is an architect, researcher, author, and curator based in Tokyo. He completed his PhD at Waseda University, with a research focus on architectural theory, design, urban studies, and historiography. He has participated in a number of international architecture competitions and academic conferences and has contributed to a number of publications, exhibitions, and collaborative research projects. He is the founding director of the Polis Architecture Institute (PAI)—a transdisciplinary platform dedicated to liberal arts, architectural disciplinary educational reform, and its epistemology. While Abudjana H. E. Babiker is based at Waseda University, his academic and research experience is intercontinental, encompassing Asia, the Arabian Peninsula, Northern Africa, and Europe.
