Job Description

The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a faculty position in Entrepreneurship. Qualified candidates at all levels will be considered at a rank commensurate with academic accomplishments.

Position Overview:
Candidates are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at undergraduate and graduate levels, a demonstrable research capability enabling development and sustainment of an internally and/or externally funded research program, and active engagement in promoting the growth of UAEU.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct high-quality research leading to publications in top-tier, refereed journals
• Develop and sustain funded research initiatives
• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship and related disciplines
• Employ innovative and practical approaches to enhance student learning
• Lead and manage the Entrepreneurship Lab
• Mentor students and advise on academic and professional development
• Contribute to ongoing enhancement of the Entrepreneurship program
• Engage in high-level service or external projects promoting UAEU’s growth and reputation

Minimum Qualification:

• Earned doctorate in Entrepreneurship, Business, or applicable field
• Ability to teach undergraduate courses
• Industrial and professional experience (plus)

Preferred Qualification:

• PhD in Entrepreneurship, Business, or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited institution
• Proven track record of publications in Q1, Scopus Rank A, and peer-reviewed journals
• Ability to secure research funding or develop funded research initiatives
• Excellence in teaching with focus on innovative pedagogy
• Ability to teach diverse range of undergraduate and graduate courses
• Collegiality and strong commitment to institutional growth
• Proficiency in English (language of instruction and communication)

Expected Skills:

• Lead and manage the Entrepreneurship Lab
• Create hands-on, practical opportunities integrating academic knowledge with real-world applications
• Industry experience in the UAE and internationally (highly valued)
• Ensure program’s practical relevance and quality
