Job Description
The German International University – Egypt invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor position in Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering. The successful candidate will be equipped with a modern research and training lab.

- CAD / Technical Drawing
- Mechanics I/II
- Mechanics of Materials
- Machining Processes
- Project Management
- Thermodynamics
- Fluid Mechanics
- Engineering Physics
- Robotics & Automation (neighboring disciplines)
Position Overview:
The applicant should be ready to familiarize with neighboring disciplines in Robotics & Automation and manufacturing, and able to teach core and major courses at undergraduate level as well as advanced and elective courses at postgraduate level.
Qualifications:
- PhD or Doctorate
- Extensive industrial working experience (minimum 3 years) in related discipline
- Work experience in industrial development of mechanical/mechatronic applications using CAD software packages
- Experience with robotics
- Hands-on experience developing projects in related multidisciplinary field (desirable)
- Track record of collaborative research and successful supervision
- Excellent teaching ability at undergraduate and graduate levels
- High capacity to develop pedagogical innovations and manage study programs
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Commitment to excellence in undergraduate or graduate teaching
- Record of accomplishment in independent and applied research
