During my PhD we investigated the role of the splicing factor U2AF1 in chimeric RNA formation and regulation using knockdown and overexpression approaches. Knockdown of U2AF1 was achieved using shRNAs in leukemia and esophageal cancer cells, while overexpression was achieved by amplifying the full-length U2AF1 gene sequences in the same cell lines. Subsequently, after the knockdown of U2AF1 transcriptome sequencing was performed to analyze differential gene expression, downstream target genes, gene set enrichment analysis, GO terms, KEGG, and alternative splicing events. Furthermore, the SOAPfuse algorithm was utilized to study chimeric RNA formation and regulation after U2AF1 knockdown, revealing its regulatory role in regulating different categories of chimeric RNAs. This research sheds light on U2AF1's involvement in chimeric RNA formation and its implications for cancer research.

My master's dissertation focus was on the Individual and Combined Efficacy of Antibiotics and Probiotics on the Growth of Broiler Chickens. In short, my findings revealed that with the individual use of antibiotics, no such significant effect was observed on the growth performance of Broiler Chickens. With the individual use of Probiotics, a significant effect was observed on the body weight, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and increase in organ weight. With the combined use of antibiotics and Probiotics highly significant effect was observed on body weight, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio, and increase in organ weight. The effect of Antibiotics and Probiotics was compared with that of the Control Group (having no Antibiotics and Probiotics).

I did my BS in Microbiology from University of Peshawar, Pakistan. My final year project was about Prevalence, Isolation, andAntibiotic Resistivity of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in Clinical Samples from Different Hospitals of District Mardan and Swabi, Pakistan.
