About Candidate
I received my Ph.D. degree in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. I also received my M.Eng. degree in Geotechnics (Faculty of Civil Engineering) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia. and obtained my B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering Department from the University of Khartoum (UofK), Sudan. All the courses that I have attended in my B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. are closely related to Civil Engineering in general while specializing in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering.
During my academic journey, I have published a number of papers in the Geotechnical Engineering field, with a few more under review. My research interests are mainly related to Geotechnical & Geoenvironmental engineering with particular interests in soil stabilization and carbon sequestration.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Civil Engineering - Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia. o Date of Award: August 25, 2021. o Thesis Title: Kaolin Stabilisation by Utilising Ground Granulated Blast Furnaces Slag For Carbon dioxide Reduction.
Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Geotechnics – Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia o Date of Award: February 14, 2018.
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Civil Engineering – University of Khartoum (U of K), Khartoum, Sudan. o Date of Award: September 2, 2013.
Work & Experience
o Key Responsibilities: Prepare technical design proposals for various geotechnical designs for (Landfills, Landscapes, and Roads…) To produce relevant design calculations for the use of geosynthetic and composite materials. Create Engineering drawings/illustrations and other technical papers for the project submittals.
o Key Responsibilities: Lecturing civil engineering courses to undergraduate students. Supervising undergraduate final year projects.
o Key Responsibilities: Supervision of laboratory tests and preparation of geotechnical data for service projects.
o Key Responsibilities: Site supervision for excavation and pouring for piles installation.
o Key Responsibilities: Assisting tutorial for undergraduate classes. (Soil Mechanics, Highway Engineering, Hydraulic Structure, etc …) Taught laboratory experiments in geotechnical and hydraulic engineering.
